Wound Care

Wounds and open sores are common in the foot and legs.  

They can be caused by direct injury or vascular problems and can be further complicated by diabetes.  

In a person with vascular problems a seemingly small scrape could become a large, non-healing, infected sore in no time.  

In wound care it is important to treat the wound along with the underlying cause for rapid and complete healing to occur.
